Apps or Mobile Web? Neither.

Why do we need to down load an app? Why do we have to type in a URL to get to a mobile web experience? In the end, both barriers to entry are clumsy. What will change this? The role of the browser. I predict that in the next 3 years the web browser as we know it will be dead. We will build web experiences, not apps or websites.
