Sister Winter Sufjan Stevens

Thanks for this Troy. I needed some good Christmas music. Pandora’s Rock’n Christmas wasn’t cutting it for me…

The Secret of Innnovation

CNN London, England talks to some Professors from Harvard Business School who explain a number of key attributes of innovative thinking and innovators like Steve Jobs.

It’s interesting how so much of it matches up with the philosophy and approach of the Visualisation program at MCAD and Jerry Alan’s Creative & Critical Thinking class that I took last semester.

That class has opened my mind to so much. My perspective has been changed now to the point that the more silly of an idea the come up with, the more pleased with myself I am. Uninhibited brainstorming along with the ability to combine crazy ideas with real world application seems to be my forte.

My friends tend to call these ideas “Szymanski-isms”. It’s interesting to see how their more inhibited thinking patterns seem to think my ideas are silly at first, but then when I bring it down to Earth by applying it, they understand!
